If you are looking for a clean lip gloss, look no further than Fitglow Lip Colour Serums. They kind of do it all. I’m talking nourish, plump, add shine, smell beautiful, are easy to apply, offer a beautiful shade range and just make you look so dang fly!
Let’s talk about why. Fitglow Lip Colour Serums wear super light with a glossy finish but are not sticky or heavy. They are refined enough where they look fantastic on mature or maturing skin but also playful enough were they are stunning on teens and young adults too. Currently, Fitglow Beauty offers Lip Colour Serums in 16 shades including two new shade releases as of today; Gleam and Bare which you can see swatched below. Shades range from light nudes to robust reds.

The Lip Colour Serums smell faintly of vanilla which I personally love. They apply evenly with the included tube top wand and tingle for the first 10 minutes or so as the plumping agents activate. I find that some shades tingle more than others but regardless of the shade, the tingling subsides after about 10 minutes.
I think two things really stand out with the Lip Colour Serums. First, they are UBER clean with several foundational ingredients even being certified organic. Scroll down to check out the full ingredient list. And second, the performance here is show stopper status. These wear so well while actually working to MAKE LIPS BETTER. Fitglow Lip Color Serums are also cruelty-free, gluten-free, and recyclable.
I also love their Night Serum too – a clear formula to treat lips overnight. Without fail, I wake up with soft, plump and moisturized lips. If you struggle with peeling, chapped or dry lips, the Night Treatment is worth a try.
A chat with Fitglow Founder Anna Domi on her Lip Colour Serums
I connected with Anna Domi, founder and creator of Fitglow Beauty to get some inside intel on her Lip Colour Serums.
Lisa: Can you share the inspiration for the Lip Colour Serums?
Anna: “The lack of melanin and thinner skin makes lips more susceptible to sunspots and skin cancer. Our lips have no sweat glands, hair follicles or sebaceous glands. All of these are critical in protecting and moisturizing the skin all over our body. So, as you can imagine, your lips are more prone to dryness and chapping. The only natural source of protection your lips have is saliva, which isn’t very effective at preventing dry, cracked and painful lips, which is why we need to give them a hand.”
Anna continues, “I wanted to continue to treat the lips during the day so I needed to create a formula that women would want to wear . Adding colour to the treatment formula was a natural choice. Lips are often either neglected for treatment as many women just wear colour products that actually are drying or damaging to the lips. Some lip balms just provide basic care or a moisture barrier. The Lip Serums are made in harmony with how your lips work and what your lips need to be healthy, soft and keep their beautiful shape.”
Lisa: Are the Lip Colour Serums a swap for something conventional you love?
Anna: I have to admit that some of the shades of the lip serums are swaps for some of my conventional favourites and many are our customer requested shades.
Lisa: What is the plumping agent(s)?
Anna: It’s actually a combination of our beet extract and few very special plant ingredients that work together not just to give a temporary fullness but improve the structure of the lips over time.
For example, pomegranate sterol penetrates lips and holds double it’s weight in water to increase hydration, improve moisture barrier function and increase plumpness.
Lisa: What’s your favorite shade personally?
Anna: Yikes …. that’s a hard question. Since I’m super busy trying to balance Fitglow and my baby I keep a few shades that give me life in my purse or stroller. I always have Beach Glow, Gospel, Bare and Buff near me but you can find me wearing Root often for a deeper pop of colour.
Lisa: We’ve seen seasonal duos added to the collection this past year. Will you continue to make new shades?
Anna: Well originally we were planning on just making 8 but our customers keep on requesting more shades so we will definitely continue to make more. We love hearing what shades our customers need .
